旅游业界的各位同仁,大家上午好!

我是中国出境旅游交易会COTTM卿清晖。

中国出境旅游行业在经历了过去三年多的风霜雨雪和大浪淘沙后,一路见证和伴随行业发展了18年的中国出境旅游交易会COTTM,今天,终于开幕了!

众所周知,世界格局、国际秩序和地缘政治正在经历复杂的演变。中国出境旅游行业在逐渐恢复的同时也必将面临行业的涤荡、洗礼和重构。在此背景下,本届COTTM将以 “重构中国出境旅游行业供应链”为主题,把全球最主要旅游目的地的资源商再度聚拢北京,为出境旅游产业链上的各个要素重新整合提供平台,以满足中国出境旅游运营商去开发和设计新的高质量旅游产品及服务而提供各种可能,进而迎合中国出境旅游和旅行者的新需求。在接下来的新闻发布会中,我们将向业界告知本届展会目的地国家的参与情况。

“沉舟侧畔千帆过,病树前头万木春”。中国的先贤们早已告诫我们,世界就是在这种新旧交替中不断向前发展。唯有扬帆远航、坚持不懈,才能迎来万木之春。

“今年花胜去年红,可惜明年花更好,知与谁同?”在中国出境产业链重构中抓住机会的旅游目的地国家、供应商、出境运营商、以及不断创新的业者,必将共同迎来中国出境旅游行业再度繁花似锦的春天和硕果累累的秋天!

女士们、先生们!

大家早上好!

我谨代表中国出境旅游交易会的主办方塔苏斯集团,向今天来参与中国出境旅游交易会的各位业者表示衷心的感谢!自2020年春,经历了三年半的等待,第十六届中国出境旅游交易会(COTTM2023)终于在今天得以开启!我们在此热烈欢迎来自全球50个国家(地区)的210家参展商和来自全中国的2500位旅游业者的参与。

众所周知,疫情前,中国连续多年保持世界第一大出境旅游客源国地位。2019年,中国公民出境旅游人次达到1.55亿,出境游客境外消费超过1338亿美元。尽管受过去疫情的影响,但中国经济依然保持增长的韧性。

事实上,中国作为全球第一大出境旅游市场的长期因素保持稳定,出境旅游发展基础依然强固。据文化和旅游部数据中心统计,今年国庆节假期,出境旅游人次日均近150万人次,是去年同期的3倍。

同时,中国“一带一路“国家战略更是为中国出境旅游行业的发展和重构提供巨大的引擎和无限的契机。目前,中国已与144个“一带一路”共建国家签署了文化和旅游合作。在中国旅游研究院发布的2023年上半年出境游大数据的报告中显示:中国大陆居民赴“一带一路”沿线国家旅游意愿明显增强、停留时间也更长久。毫无疑问,共建“一带一路”国家,在中国出境旅游目的地中将占有越来越重要的地位。

而2023年,中国出境旅游交易会带来的正是许多“一带一路“目的地资源,以政府机构组团参展的目的地包括:埃及、巴基斯坦、哈萨克斯坦、沙特阿拉伯、泰国、菲律宾、波兰、突尼斯、塞舌尔、坦桑尼亚、阿塞拜疆、阿拉木图、萨拉热窝、和贝尔格莱德等20多个国家和地区。他们把其旅游资源、酒店、景点、航空以及入境旅游服务机构带来中国,以满腔的热情来邀请中国游客去他们生活的土地,去领略和体验他们自然、历史、人文和生活。

与展会同期,“COTTM会议“也将如期在此会议室举行。我们邀请了来自中国顶级旅游运营商、目的地旅游局、线上平台和数字营销等机构的优秀业者,来探讨“一带一路、疫后重构、目的地营销、未来出境旅游人才和目的地信心重塑”等行业议题。在中国出境旅游行业链重构的进程中,我们的会议或许能为行业提供些许思路、方案和借鉴。

自2005年创立以来,中国出境旅游交易会(COTTM)就一直得到了出境业者的极力支持和参与,我们以能为中国出境旅游运营商带来全新目的地而倍感自豪。来自四川的业者曾告知我们说,他的加勒比海产品的供应商,就来自COTTM;广东的业者说,他的中东非产品供应商,几乎全都来自COTTM。我们团队会以此为荣,也将坚守初心、为行业供应链重构,再尽绵薄之力。

借此机会,我要感谢来自全球的参展商、中国旅游业者、协会和媒体合作伙伴,正是由于你们长期鼎力支持,COTTM在历经十八载春秋后,还能继续为中国出境旅游行业服务。同时,我要特别感谢COTTM的战略合作伙伴中国旅游研究院、华程国旅集团和众信旅游集团数年来的全力支持!

2024年,中国出境旅游交易会也将于10月16-18日在农展馆再度举行,期待与大家再相聚!

Ladies and gentlemen,

Good morning!

On behalf of Tarsus Group, the organiser of China Outbound Travel & Tourism Market, I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to all of you for attending COTTM today! After three and a half years of waiting, the 16th COTTM finally opens today! We are delighted to welcome 210 exhibitors from 50 destinations to participate in COTTM this year.

As we all know, before the pandemic, China maintained its position as the world’s largest source of outbound tourists for many years. In 2019, Chinese tourists made 155 million outbound trips and spent more than USD130 billion overseas. Despite the impact of the pandemic over the past three years, China’s economy has remained resilient in growth.

The long-term factors of China’s position as the world’s largest outbound tourism market remain stable, and the foundation for outbound tourism development remains strong. According to the statistics of the data center of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, during the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays this year, the national border inspection authorities inspected almost 12 million entry-exit personnel, with an average of 1.5 million per day, that’s 3 times more than the same period last year.

Furthermore, China’s “One Belt, One Road” national strategy provides great impetus and unlimited opportunities for the development and reconstruction of the China outbound tourism industry. Currently, China has signed cooperation agreements in the field of culture and tourism with 144 of the 152 countries involved in the “One Belt, One Road” initiatives.

According to the report on outbound travel data released by the China Tourism Academy in the first half of 2023, Chinese mainland residents have increased their willingness to travel to countries along the ” One Belt, One Road ” and have stayed longer. There is no doubt that the ” One Belt, One Road ” countries will occupy an increasingly important position in China’s outbound tourism destinations.

In 2023, COTTM is showcasing tourism resources from many ” One Belt, One Road ” destinations, including Egypt, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, the Philippines, Poland, Tunisia, Tanzania, Azerbaijan, Almaty and Sarajevo, as well as 20 other countries and regions participating in this year’s event. They bring their local tourism resources, hotels, airlines and inbound travel agencies to China and invite Chinese tourists to visit and experience nature, history, humanity and life in where they live.

In parallel with the exhibition, the “COTTM Conference” will also be held in this room. We invite industry leaders from China top tour operators, destination tourism boards, online platforms and digital marketing agencies to discuss industry topics such as “post-pandemic reconstruction, destination marketing, future outbound tourism prospects and of course One Belt, One Road “. During the process of restructuring China’s outbound tourism industry chain, the “COTTM Conference” may provide some solutions and insights for the industry.

Since its inception in 2005, COTTM has received strong support and involvement from the outbound industry and prides itself on bringing new destinations to Chinese outbound industry players. A few tour operators from Sichuan Province once told us that their suppliers of Caribbean was from COTTM, and the operators in Guangdong said that almost all of their suppliers of the Middle East and African products came from COTTM. Our team are always proud of this, and will stick to its original intention to make a modest contribution to the reconstruction of the supply chain for the industry.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank exhibitors from around the world, Chinese tour operators, associations and media partners. Thanks to your long-term support, COTTM is able to continue to serve the Chinese outbound tourism industry after 18 years. In particular, I would like to thank COTTM’s strategic partner, China Tourism Academy, HCG and Utour for their full support over the years!

In 2024, COTTM will also be held again at this venue on 16-18 October, and we look forward to seeing you again!
